Zimbabwe's Bishops Turn "Political"
It's like in the scenario of Academy Award movie "The Last King of Scotland", only in this case the opposition to the oppressive regime is held by the Catholic bishops of Zimbabwe. As a response to the letter addressed by the bishops to Mugabe, the regime has closed the communication door of the bishops with their superiors abroad and has declared some of them enemies of the regime. Preparing The Historical Union
On May 17th, Moscow will be packed with archbishops and priests attending the historical meeting between the heads of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia. The ceremony will take place in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow, where the officials of the two churches will sign the Act of Canonical Communion.
