Gender Issue
A female professor of Hebrew at Southwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary was dismissed because the responsible at the Seminary
think only men are supposed to teach in a Church institution. The
decision, based on a text by Apostle Paul, is controversial,
especially because there are women teaching music and arts at the
same institution (...)

"Jaws of Hell" Presented At UN
During a UN panel about violence between religions, the three main
monotheist religions, Christianity, Islam and Judaism expressed
their opinion about violence and faith. Apparently, the three of
them agree that religion should not be set against the secular
human rights. As if they should not be on their agenda (...)

Symbols Are Back
After fearing their staff and the Christian symbols they wear may
offend people of another belief, British Airways stepped back and
decided it will allow all their staff to wear whatever religious
symbols they want. Crosses, saris, yarmulkes and other symbols are
back on the menu (...)

Ukraine Makes The Black List
After disagreeing with Ukrainian politics in the Yushchenko era,
Moscow disagrees with him on religious issues. The Ukrainian
President decided to form a commission for the unification of the
Orthodox Church and the Kievan Patriarchate. The Russian Patriarchy
wonders if the Ukrainian state is truly a secular state (...)

A Strange Tone
Vatican published a letter coming from Polish Episcopal Conference
and diocesan bishops and addressed to all Polish faithful. In it,
they speak about the errors the Polish have made and ask them to
see Ash Wednesday as a day of repentance. We couldn't figure out
repentance from whom: clergy or faithful? Maybe you'll find the
answer here (...)
