Intelligent Design In Schools
In Iowa an Evangelical Lutheran Church of America affiliate college will held a conference on intelligent design. The conference is supposed to speak to teachers about the ways in which this scientific theory can be taught to children. But the conference only succeeded to produce more rumors about a theory than is not well-regarded by the scientific community and it's not very familiar to Christian teachers (...)
A Christian Finger Pointing Hollywood
The Christ-less character of Hollywood is more and more recognized by people. Dave Christiano, a TV producer who started a Christian TV show, was surprised to see that every dramatic production made by Hollywood does not present Christ from a good angle. Moreover, great hollywoodian figures stated this orientation, George Lucas being one of them:
"Church's position, that used to be so big, has been usurped by film". We expect more documentaries and more murderers quoting from Isaiah in Hollywood movies (...)
In Egypt, The Wolves Come Dressed As Lambs
In Upper Egypt, a number of Christian homes were attacked by Muslims, but when the victims pressed charges, police detained them for several days until the charges were dropped. It's not a singular case, there are a number of such cases in the area. We've seen this story happening a number of times: the attackers attack and then they cry louder than the victims. People get tired of the cries and move away. Or they change the channel (...)
