Dr. Jaroslav Pelikan, scholar and historian of Christianity passed away Saturday 13, 2006 at the age of 82. Author of over 40 books subjecting all aspects of Church history and teaching, Dr. Pelikan is remebered as one of the most influential scholars of Christianity in our time. He was also Member in the Board of Trustees of St. Vladimir's Orthodox Seminary. More about him here.
